Natalie HOWARD Wins Third Place in ISC (International Songwriting Competition)

Congratulations!!.....This Nashville based talented writer and performer has been recognized by one of the world's most prestigious songwriting competitions the International Songwriting Commpetition. Her Australian home is at the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Natalie's song 'Paint Me Blue', co-written with James Dean Hicks, has won Third Place in the 'Country' category and gained an Honorable Mention in the 'Performance' category.
Another song 'Emotional Day' was nominated as a Semi-Finalist in the 'Country' category.
Australian songwriters and artists dominated the 2007 ISC, with a staggering 34 finalists and 32 semi-finalists.
This year's competition is the largest yet for ISC, with the biggest growth coming from entries outside the USA. Finalists and Semi-finalists in each of the 19 categories were selected from more than 15,000 entries from amateur and professional songwriters from 100 countries worldwide, confirming ISC's status as the leading global songwriting event.  This makes Natalie's triple nomination quite an achievement.
The ISC 2007 Judging Panel includes the Legendary Country artist Loretta Lynn, Country Artist Craig Morgan, Grammy Winner Nelly Furtado, to name a few, as well as Music Industry Professionals. The high profile judging panel announced the 59 winners who share in a cash and prize pool of US$150,000 and had their music heard by a most impressive group of judges from a variety of industry backgrounds.
Natalie is a previous ISC Finalist in the 'Country' category with 'The Long Night' from her debut Australian album 'Yesterday's Makeup' and US 'self-titled' release, and is proud to be a winner among the other Australian and overseas songwriters and artists with a song from her upcoming sophomore album currently in production.
